My life and career have been based on seeking out those in need and shining a light. I want to fight social injustice and be a voice for those who have been silenced. I pray daily that God gives me HIS eyes to see the needs in the world around me, and HIS thoughts to meet those needs. Brandon Heath sings a song I love called "Give Me Your Eyes". I beleive that God gives us His eyes sometimes so that we can see people the way that He sees them, and love them the way that He loves them. I have to start with the people around me. Sometimes, I screw up. I am praying for second chances. For an opportunity for others to see my heart, and know me, and hopefully to know my God.
