Samuel's Tonsil Surgery

Samuel's surgery was today. They took out his tonsils, adenoids, and put in a set of tubes. He barely flinched. When they wheeled him into the operating room he was sitting in the wagon focusing intently on his Leapster. When he woke up, he was aggitated from the anesthesia, but very calm, considering. He just wanted his mommy. He got sick in the car on the way home, but has had 3 popcicles and a pediasure since we've been home. He's laying on the couch watching Veggietales and Bee movie. He acts like he feels fine. I'm sure some of the meds will wear off and that will change, but for now he's doing GREAT! Such a trooper...

Junior Miss Weekend

Our beautiful Elizabeth Dunklin - Butler County's Junior Miss 2009--we were SO proud!
'Mantha

Lauren - in the has been's line-up--2002, I think...

Before we deposited all our mess...

Ok, So, I'm late. Two weeks ago, I spent the weekend in Montgomery with some of my best girl friends to go to Alabama's Junior Miss. I serve on the local board of directors...we had a blast. Butler County's Junior Miss for 2009 was Elizabeth Dunklin...and she was FABULOUS! She finished in the top 8 and made us SO proud. My roomies wouldn't let me make too many pics, so here are the few I had. I was thinking about the trip & realized that I am fairly certain this is only the second time I have been ANYWHERE other than college overnight without my husband, mother, or cheerleader sponser....Sad, I know. I've lived a very sheltered life.

James Isaac is 1!

I can't beleive it's been a whole year! We had a party at church with both fams plus MeMe & GoGo and Abbie & Bryant (who all might as well be family!) We had a great time! Thanks everyone! Especially Samuel (he was in charge!)!
Isaac got his tubes on Thursday & it went great. Samuel's surgery is the 26th & it promises not to be quite as easy!

Monkey Business

Last Saturday Presley was in Greenville while Tracy had gone with Natalie Grace on a youth trip. We decided to take them all to the Zoo. Samuel told everybody he met his brothers there (the monkey's)! We had a great time. It's so much fun to watch them play...
