Samuel's LAST basketball game with the YMCA was last night! Daddy has been coaching and Samuel has loved every minute of it. I have always said that I didn't think he was going to be much of an "athlete"...he loves to sing and dance..and didn't really enjoy t-ball last spring. But he wanted to play, so we signed up. Boy, was I wrong. At first, he did not really understand the game well, and wasn't so great, but as the season wore on, his game really picked up! I was SO proud of him last night. He was really giving it his all and hanging in there. And, he can really shoot!
I have always said that I wanted my boys to do what made them happy. I didn't to push sports on them if they didn't want to play. As long as they are using their talents and seekign to glorify the Savior, I don't care if they march around with a piccolo! But it does do a mommy's heart proud to see Daddy and my boy doing something they both love together and having a great time! Go TEAM!
